Im März 2025 waren wir mit Frau Hoffmann und Frau Veit für eine Woche in Slowenien. Dort haben wir viele tolle Dinge erlebt, neues Essen kennengelernt und auch in den Schulalltag hineinschnuppern dürfen. Die Schule Gimnazija Celje Center, welche wir besucht haben, liegt, wie der Name schon sagt, im Herzen von Celje. Sie ist eine große Schule mit etwa 1.000 Schülern. Da das Schulsystem in Slowenien anders aufgebaut ist, umfasst das Gymnasium dort die Klassenstufen 10 bis 13. Die Unterrichtsstunden haben wir aufmerksam verfolgt und viele interessante Eindrücke gesammelt. Insgesamt war es ein äußerst spannendes und bereicherndes Erlebnis. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Stadt Celje und vor allem die ganzen Aktivitäten, die man dort unternehmen kann. Der Technopark, den wir am letzten Tag besucht haben, war sehr interessant, da wir uns an den verschiedenen Stationen auch einmal selbst ausprobieren durften. Von dem Schloss in Celje hatte man einen tollen Blick über die ganze Stadt, und auch die historischen Hintergründe waren sehr aufschlussreich. Am Dienstag haben wir einen Tagesausflug zum Imker gemacht. Dort durften wir alle möglichen Honigsorten probieren und haben viele interessante Informationen bekommen. Anschließend waren wir in Radmannsdorf und nahmen an einer Führung teil. Danach sind wir in das Alpinmuseum gefahren. Dort fand eine weitere Führung statt. Wir konnten unser Wissen dann bei einem Quiz testen Nach ungefähr zwei Stunden Zugfahrt am Mittwoch sind wir in der Hauptstadt Sloweniens, Ljubljana, angekommen. Wir sind zusammen auf einen Touristenzug gegangen und haben eine Tour durch die Stadt gemacht. Außerdem wurde uns viel über den größten slowenischen Dichter, Franz Prešeren, erzählt. Wir haben mehrere Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die Dragon Bridge, die Triple Bridge und die Burg von Ljubljana gesehen. Danach hatten wir Freizeit, die wir mit unserem Austauschpartnern verbracht haben. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Tag. Insgesamt war es eine großartige Erfahrung und wir würden es jedem weiterempfehlen, da es eine tolle Gelegenheit neue Leute und Kulturen kennenzulernen.

Slovenia Exchange 🇸🇮 In March 2025 we spent one week in Slovenia with Mrs. Hoffmann and Mrs. Veit. We did a lot of great things, tried new food, and visited a school. The school Gimnazija Celje Center, which we visited, is located, as the name suggests, in the heart of Celje. It is a large school with around 1,000 students. Since the school system in Slovenia is different, the “gymnasium“ there covers grades 10 to 13. We followed the lessons attentively and gathered many interesting impressions. Overall, it was a very exciting and enriching experience. We were really impressed by the city of Celje and all the fun activities we could do there. One of our highlights was the Technopark which we visited on our last day there. It was really interesting. We could try out all of the different stations and experiment with several technologies ourselves. At the top of the castle in Celje, we had a breathtaking view over the entire city, and the history behind it was really fascinating as well. On Tuesday we made a day trip to the bekeeper. There, we tried different kinds of honey and got a lot of interesting information. Afterwards we went to Radovljica and took part in a guided tour. After our lunch we went to the Alpine Museum. At the end we had to test our knowledge in a quiz. On Wednesday after a two hour train ride, we arrived in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. We went on the tourist train with our group and did a guided tour through the city. We learned about the most famous Slovenian poet: Franz Prešeren. We also saw a lot of sights like the Dragon Bridge, the Triple Bridge and the castle of Ljubljana. After that we had some free time and spent it with our exchange students. It was a really fun day! The exchange was a great experience. We would recommend it to everyone to take part in it because it is a good way to meet new people and learn about new cultures.
