It is the task of the state to ensure the basic education of our kids. The public media for this are getting tighter and tighter. A holistic and contemporary education without stately support is not possible anymore.
We parents can remedy the situation in addition to trying to exert political influence by supporting the work of the school with self-commitment.
The support association of the AVS is a merge of parents and teachers who extend the learning opportunities of their students with individual and financial support.
The parents and teachers of the support association made the following possible:
- …the procurement of table tennis tables and other equipment on the schoolyard…
- …the purchase of canoes for a whole class…
- …the procurement of instruments…
- …the realisation of up-to-date media equipment (computers, laptops, printers, projector, video camera, mixing desk, etc.)…
- …the realisation of the “open all day school” (OGTS)…
- …the purchase of a kiln for the pottery workshop and art projects…
- …the setup of a beach-volleyballpitch in cooperation with Itzehoe…
- …the procurement of mountainbikes for a whole class in cooperation with the sports profile…
- …the purchase of headsets for theatre performances…
- …the procurement of jerseys and school clothing…
- and much more…
Together we can reach very much for our kids! Support our work by joining our club, too. Simply complete the registration form in full, i.e. page 1 (SEPA direct debit mandate) and page 2 (declaration of membership), sign it and hand it in to the secretary or form teacher and become a member.

Annual fee: 19 € / 29 € / 49 € per year or any other higher fees
A transfer voucher is accepted by the tax office as a donation receipt. A donation receipt will be issued for higher donations.
