add_icon=&#8221;true&#8221; title=&#8221;Topics&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1500279091738-cdf94fe6-a6c6b6ba-ccbc&#8221;][vc_column_text]Sport is very important at the AVS.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sport focus class <\/strong> (since 2011\/12). <strong>From <\/strong><strong>grade 5 <\/strong>onwards, one class is provided with an additional PE lesson thoughout a total of two school years (i.e. a total of 3 lessons a week).<\/li>\n<li>Compulsory elective lessons <strong>\u201cWPU \u2013 Healthy<\/strong> <strong>Movement or Getting fit by Movement\u201d<\/strong>: Here, with the help of two additional weekly lessons in the form of a course, a range of sports is taught that complements everyday physical education classes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sport profile class<\/strong> in senior classes<\/li>\n<li><strong>Swimming lessons<\/strong> are held in the class all year round and can also be chosen as a possible subject for the &#8220;Abitur&#8221; in PE.<\/li>\n<li>With the installation of <strong>&#8220;AVS Canoe&#8221;<\/strong>, the use of <strong>13 three-seater canoes<\/strong> and one <strong>ten-canoe<\/strong> including two trailers and complete additional equipment is possible for water sports.<\/li>\n<li>In addition, a class set of <strong>mountain bikes<\/strong> is available to the sports department.<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>beach volleyball field<\/strong>, the adjoining Cirencester Park and the Kaiserstra\u00dfe sports field also offer other good opportunities for outdoor sports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221;
